Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Software Licensing and Professional Services

Expeditors is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our 3PSS team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for software licensing and professional services, ensuring that all contracts are negotiated and executed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement process for software licensing and professional services, including developing and implementing procurement strategies, conducting market research, and evaluating vendor proposals.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts with vendors, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met and that the company's interests are protected.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring that they are aware of the company's needs and expectations.
  • Provide support to the 3PSS team, including providing procurement expertise and guidance on contract management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring that the company is aware of any changes or updates that may impact the procurement process.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on software licensing and professional services.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing procurement projects, including developing and implementing procurement strategies, conducting market research, and evaluating vendor proposals.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to negotiate and execute contracts with vendors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
