About the Position:

Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Data Analytics Consultant to join our Customer Excellence Data & Analytics Team, focusing on exploratory analytics for various financial products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with business units and corporate functions to develop strategies based on performance metrics, population trends, and comprehensive data analysis aimed at optimizing profits and minimizing operational losses.
  • Lead initiatives to identify innovative tools and methodologies for data analysis.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics or a related field, demonstrated through work experience, training, or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with SAS
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL
  • 1+ year of experience with Teradata and/or Oracle
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Ability to work on-site as per Wells Fargo's operational model.
