Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Specialist Lead to join our team at TTI, Inc. in Northwest Fort Worth, TX.

Job Summary:

The Desktop Support Specialist Lead will be responsible for managing team members' activities, communicating company goals and safety practices, and assisting management with hiring, training, and daily team member performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure tickets are accurately recorded and updated by the team.
  • Conduct internal training to keep the team up-to-date with the latest technology and internal system processes.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members to maintain a consistent experience for end-users.
  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Suggest ideas, take lead on projects, and provide technical solutions to new issues.
  • Foster a learning environment and mentor other technicians.
  • Ensure Desktop Support techs follow up on outstanding tickets and project tasks.
  • Identify and report technical trends and problems in the environment.
  • Provide encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required. Associates degree in a related field preferred.
  • Four plus years of related experience.
  • Proficient in personal computers, printers, telephone systems, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Office 365, Windows 7 & 10, Exchange 2010/Outlook applications preferred.
  • Strong Knowledge of IT Service Management principles preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of Citrix technologies preferred.
