Job Summary

This position is responsible for supervising two positions: Management Analyst Basic and Management Analyst Operational. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of supervisory experience and state financial systems to include SHARE, state procurement policies and processes, state contract processes, and State Personnel Office functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and oversee work duties, time management, and quality of work.
  • Oversight of procurement actions, including adherence to the State of New Mexico Procurement Code, State Policies, Statewide Price Agreements, and Fair and Open Competition.
  • Audit and approval of purchase documents, travel, and payments, as well as payroll corrections.
  • Manage contract encumbrances to ensure funding sources are correct and sufficient.
  • Oversee tracking of all documentation routed through the administrative offices of the bureau.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of Yellow Fever Certification.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of professional-level experience operating within parameters and guidelines directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment.
  • Valid Driver's License and current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification within six (6) months of date of hire.
Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), extensive personal computer, phone usage, and prolonged sedentary periods.
