Role Summary: The Reprographics and Print Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient and precise reproduction of printed materials. This role involves advising, coordinating, and prioritizing production tasks, reviewing copyright materials, and maintaining meticulous records. The specialist will also manage equipment repair schedules, oversee supply inventory, and address staff and customer service inquiries within the Copy Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain high-capacity xerographic and finishing equipment.
  • Review client specifications throughout the production process, maintaining constant communication regarding project status.
  • Execute copying, printing, and finishing tasks, including binding and lamination.
  • Prioritize and manage the workflow of all customer orders received through various channels.
  • Act as Key Operator, diagnosing equipment issues, performing minor repairs, or coordinating repair services as necessary.
  • Monitor copier usage and manage materials efficiently.
  • Coordinate paper restocking in the Print Center.
  • Maintain logs for departmental chargebacks and machine service calls.
  • Oversee the workflow of all reprographic requests.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in Reprographics, Copier, Finishing, Binding, or Laminating is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong work ethic, diplomatic approach, and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal communication and phone skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Consistently demonstrates professionalism in demeanor, appearance, and attitude.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and exhibit resilience.
  • Sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of handling confidential and sensitive materials appropriately.
