Job Summary

As a Mammography Technologist at Duly Health and Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner, adhering to department protocols and radiologist direction.
Corroborate patient clinical history with procedure, ensuring accurate documentation in accordance with department standards.
Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear instructions to obtain desired results and minimize anxiety.
Select and operate breast imaging equipment and associated devices to achieve optimal results.
Position patients and equipment to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, explaining the need for breast compression while respecting patient comfort.
Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
Mammography experience preferred but not required.
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with advanced certification in Mammography required.
Active ARRT certification status maintained by fulfilling continuing education requirements.
Illinois State Licensure (IEMA) and CPR Certification required.
