Labor Relations Manager Overview

Maryhaven, a leading provider of behavioral health services in Central Ohio, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor Relations Manager. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all facets of labor relations within the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to cultivate positive relationships between labor and management.
  • Negotiate and administer collective bargaining agreements effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Address employee grievances and disputes in a timely manner.
  • Conduct research to support best practices in labor relations.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and management to resolve workforce issues.
  • Analyze labor metrics and trends to enhance labor relations strategies and organizational performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and guidelines related to contract negotiations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, labor relations, business, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of five years of professional experience in labor relations and human resource management is essential.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
