**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at SSP America. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will play a vital role in leading our team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Food Travel Experts
* Implement and maintain guest service standards and brand specifications
* Maintain all merchandising standards, display presentations, and signing standards
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with planning daily goals, tasks, and assignments
* Develop, plan, and assign daily goals, tasks, and Team Member assignments
* Manage, supervise, and evaluate Team Member performance
* Ensure proper completion of assigned tasks and goals through follow-up
* Assist in monitoring sales performance through analysis of sales reports and comparison shopping
* Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures, as well as state health/sanitation standards
* Manage all office tasks, including management of funds and media, receiving, inventory, purchasing, team member scheduling, and payroll

**Requirements**

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the food & beverage industry, in a management/supervisory capacity
* Full Service and/or Quick Service restaurant experience preferred
* Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers, and direct reports
* Proven ability to effectively manage conflict and ensure successful outcomes; work under pressure and deal with high stress situations while exercising sound judgment and decision making
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Effective organizational maturity to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities
