Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Road Maintenance Technician to join our team at Webber, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our infrastructure assets, including roads, bridges, and other transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on roads, bridges, and other infrastructure assets.
  • Set up and remove traffic control devices, including cones, message boards, and temporary signage.
  • Operate specialized equipment, such as bucket trucks, scaffolding, and aerial platforms.
  • Transport crew and equipment to work sites using company vehicles and trailers.
  • Contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment, free from discrimination, bullying, and harassment.
  • Carry out all duties in line with Company policies and procedures.
  • Perform concrete work, including barrier walls, sound walls, traffic islands, slope paving, and foundations.
  • Maintain and repair highway and other surfaces, including potholes, striping, and reflectors.
  • Repair drainage systems, including manholes and inlets.
  • Apply MgCl2 to roadways during cold weather to support de-icing and emergency operations.
  • Be available and accessible for emergency response rotations, overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be available and accessible for accident repair and clean-up.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in road maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to pass Advanced MOT Certification.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to traffic and outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places, fume or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be more than moderate at times.

The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.

The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and use manual and powered pneumatic, hydraulic, gas, and electric powered tools and equipment.

The employee must be able to pass a fit test for a respirator as required and work at heights and in confined spaces.
