Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Road Maintenance Technician to join our Skilled Labor Crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing roads and other infrastructure assets to ensure safe and efficient travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on roads, highways, and other infrastructure assets.
  • Set up and remove traffic control devices, including cones, message boards, and temporary signage.
  • Operate specialized motor vehicles and trailers to transport crew and equipment to work sites.
  • Conduct concrete work, including barrier wall construction, sound wall installation, and slope paving.
  • Maintain and repair highway surfaces, including pothole repair, striping, and reflector replacement.
  • Repair drainage systems, including manholes and inlets.
  • Apply MgCl2 to roadways during cold weather to support de-icing and emergency operations.
  • Participate in emergency response rotations and accident repair and clean-up efforts.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in road maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to pass Advanced MOT Certification.
Work Environment

Work will be performed in a variety of outdoor settings, including traffic areas, construction zones, and remote locations. Employees will be exposed to extreme temperatures, wet and humid conditions, and hazardous materials. Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
