We're seeking a highly skilled Expert Financial Strategist to join our Treasury team. This individual will work closely with the Treasury Supervisor to support the team's workflow and contribute to various projects and system implementations. As a key point of contact, the Expert Financial Strategist will handle internal and external inquiries with professionalism and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Firm's cash flow forecast and budget, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Coordinate daily cash management, including concentration of funds, electronic payments, and operation of short-term investment portfolios
  • Participate in FX risk management, including research on macro-economic trends, central bank policies, and collaboration with banks to monitor foreign currency market trends
  • Reconcile daily cash balances and determine liquidity needs, ensuring the Firm's financial stability
  • Research and recommend investment options for excess cash balances, aligning with treasury strategies
  • Monitor and process escrow accounts, adhering to state rules and regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain banking relationships, collaborating with business units to identify and implement process improvements and banking services
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and support the Firm's year-end audits by preparing audit schedules and informational requests
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to enhance financial processes and ensure robust controls
  • Lead system enhancements and implementations, driving process improvements and efficiency
  • Serve as a mentor and guide to junior team members and interns, fostering a culture of growth and development
  • Ensure compliance with Firm policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 4+ years of finance or accounting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Aderant Expert is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Planning, project management, and organizational skills with attention to detail


Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for growth and professional development.
