Job Summary

Bering Straits Native Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Guard to join our team at NAVSEA. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch security services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of security personnel to ensure the safety and security of our clients and their assets.
  • Develop and implement security protocols to prevent and respond to security threats.
  • Conduct regular security checks and patrols to identify potential security risks.
  • Collaborate with other security teams to ensure seamless security operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to security personnel to ensure they are equipped to handle security situations.
  • Monitor and evaluate security performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their security needs are met.
Requirements
  • Must have a final SECRET security clearance.
  • 2 Years of verifiable experience as a supervisor with a comparable number of subordinates and as an armed security officer.
  • Proven ability to exercise good judgment and lead a team.
  • Must not have a record of any security violations, arrests, or convictions other than for minor traffic violations.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and policies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Guard/Clearance card.
  • Gun/OC/Baton permit.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
