We are currently seeking a dedicated and client-focused Acquisition Security Analyst I to support our initiatives.
The Acquisition Security Analyst will collaborate with the Government Program Manager to develop and execute comprehensive methodologies for program protection, ensuring the security of advanced technology initiatives throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting thorough lifecycle program assessments to identify critical program information (CPI), Critical System Resources (CSR), and associated vulnerabilities.
- Assisting in the identification and implementation of effective countermeasures.
- Creating and executing a risk management-based program protection strategy.
- Providing technical guidance and security support to various programs and emerging mission areas.
- Offering security recommendations to program managers and relevant security authorities.
- Maintaining collaborative relationships with program managers and security officers to ensure standardized processes for all security documentation.
- Supporting program protection/security officers in the development and execution of Program Protection Planning (PPP).
- Evaluating threats and risks, formulating risk management actions, and implementing long-term strategies.
- Assisting in the formulation of operations security (OPSEC) plans, emergency action plans, and other necessary security documentation.
- Reviewing program documentation for public release, ensuring proper handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
- Producing analytical products from various resources to provide tailored, real-time insights.
- Offering classification guidance for all security programs.
- Drafting and reviewing Security Classification Guides (SCG), Exposure Contingency Plans (ECP), and other security-related documents.
- Assisting security engineers with the closure of Special Access Programs (SAPs) as required.
- Facilitating security education and training for personnel, providing technical analysis and OPSEC support to relevant programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with acquisition programs.
- At least 2 years of experience with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) or Special Access Required (SAR) programs.
- Familiarity with security policies and relevant manuals.
- Extensive knowledge of the DD Form 254 and its application in the acquisition process.
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph examination.
- Willingness to travel as required by the program's area of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Demonstrated originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
- Occasional movement within the office environment.
- Frequent operation of office machinery and communication with colleagues and clients.
The projected compensation range for this position is $87,200-$146,400, influenced by factors such as relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and education. ManTech also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
