We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Acquisition Security Analyst I to support our initiatives.
The Acquisition Security Analyst will collaborate with the Government Program Manager to develop and execute comprehensive methodologies for program protection, ensuring the safeguarding of advanced technology programs throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough lifecycle program analyses to identify critical program information (CPI), critical system resources (CSR), and associated vulnerabilities.
- Assist in identifying and implementing effective countermeasures.
- Formulate and execute a risk management-based program protection strategy.
- Provide technical guidance and security support for collateral and Special Access Programs (SAP) as well as emerging mission areas.
- Offer security recommendations to program managers and security authorities regarding acquisition and sustainment processes.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with program managers and security officers to ensure standardized procedures for all security documentation.
- Support program protection/security officers in the development and execution of Program Protection Planning (PPP).
- Evaluate threats and risks, develop risk management actions, and implement long-term strategies.
- Assist in drafting operations security (OPSEC) plans, emergency action plans, and other necessary security documentation.
- Review program documentation for public release, ensuring proper markings and classifications are applied.
- Generate analytical products from various resources to provide tailored, real-time information.
- Provide classification guidance for all security programs, including collateral and SAP programs.
- Draft and review Security Classification Guides (SCG), Exposure Contingency Plans (ECP), and other security operating procedures.
- Assist system security engineers with the closeout actions for SAPs as required.
- Facilitate security education and training for personnel, offering technical analysis and OPSEC support to relevant programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with acquisition programs.
- At least 2 years of experience with SCI or SAR programs.
- Familiarity with security policies and the appropriate guiding documents.
- Extensive knowledge of the DD Form 254 and its role in the acquisition process.
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph examination.
- Willingness to travel as required by the program's scope.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively engage with various DOD and industry personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
- Occasional movement within the office environment.
- Frequent use of office productivity equipment.
- Effective communication with colleagues and management.
The projected compensation range for this position is $87,200-$146,400, influenced by factors such as relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and education.
