Customer Service Representative

A Customer Service Representative at Moody Bible Institute, a Christian-focused Higher Education and Media Ministry, plays a vital role in addressing the needs of our constituents who reach out to the Customer Service Center (CSC). This position involves managing service inquiries through various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and online platforms. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility in adapting to evolving systems and processes while consistently delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for incoming calls to multiple MBI phone lines
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MBI ministries, events, and services to effectively support constituents
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of corporate policies, departmental procedures, and client needs
  • Utilize contributor relationship management systems for processing donations and subscriptions
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to assess and improve customer service initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to perform accurately under pressure
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree
  • Prior experience in customer service roles

Work Environment:

This is a full-time role based in our office, with a standard work schedule. No travel is required.
