Job Summary:

The Reductions Specialist will be responsible for verifying and organizing medical bills, executing follow-up procedures, and ensuring accuracy in documents. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general office duties, including handling incoming calls and communication with third parties.
  • Verify and negotiate medical bills to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Create and distribute closing statements, and sort and update required forms and documentation.
  • Record information as needed and prepare reports for management.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school/GED diploma required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
  • Ability to verify medical bills and negotiate with providers.
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent phone presence.
  • Legal experience preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
