Position: Receiving Associate I

Role Summary:

The Receiving Associate I is a vital position responsible for managing the intake of all warehouse shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently unload shipping containers.
  • Safely transport items to designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace for all warehouse personnel.
  • Report any damaged goods to the Logistics Coordinator promptly.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to management for timely resolution.
  • Perform routine housekeeping tasks to ensure a tidy warehouse environment.
  • Assist in inventory management by conducting regular cycle counts.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse machinery and equipment, including forklifts, is preferred.
  • Ability to accurately recognize and interpret part numbers in both numeric and alphanumeric formats.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both warehouse and office staff.
  • A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the role.
