Job Overview

Control Panels USA is seeking an experienced Automation Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for a wide range of industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and program PLCs from various manufacturers, including Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, and Siemens.
  • Develop and implement SCADA systems using platforms such as AVEVA/Wonderware, Trihedral VTSCADA, and Inductive Automation Ignition.
  • Create HMI interfaces for various manufacturers, including Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus and Schneider Electric Magellis.
  • Perform factory acceptance testing and site commissioning services.
  • Ensure client expectations are met and maintain good relations with clients and vendors.
Requirements
  • Must have experience with automation controller systems, including PLCs and SCADA systems.
  • Must have experience with various HMI and SCADA systems.
  • Field experience performing panel checkout and loop checks is required.
  • Must perform troubleshooting, startup, and commissioning services.
  • Project management experience is required on projects that are exclusive to programming-only scopes.
  • Effective client communication skills are required.
  • Must be willing to travel 20%+ of the time.
