  • Supervise on-site vendors and engineers to facilitate successful project outcomes.
  • Lead regular environmental assessment meetings to communicate project status and expectations clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing project status reports for senior management.
  • Support project leads in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Implement standardized scopes of work and manage the RFP process for contractor selection.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring qualifications and ongoing communication.
  • Resolve project constraints proactively to minimize risks and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Support project leads in managing changes related to scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
  • Clearly define responsibilities, set objectives, and measure progress against established goals.

Qualifications
To thrive as an Environmental Project Coordinator at Apex Clean Energy, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental permitting, engineering, or construction management, preferably within utility-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Technical expertise in environmental construction standards and permitting regulations.
  • A strong customer service orientation, both internally and externally.
  • The ability to develop and measure performance metrics against established benchmarks.
  • Leadership skills that foster confidence, integrity, and trust among team members and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively in both individual and group settings.
  • A deep passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of ethics, quality, and productivity.
  • A dedication to safety practices.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
