Position Overview:

  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development Director and the leadership team to explore new business opportunities and effectively communicate the studio's initiatives.
  • Proposal Management: Under the guidance of the BD Director, prepare comprehensive responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to assist IAA in securing new projects. This involves gathering and organizing pertinent qualification data and materials, designing the qualification document using InDesign, coordinating information from the relevant subconsultant team, and drafting tailored content to fulfill RFP requirements.
  • Documentation Oversight: Maintain a systematic and organized repository of templates and files to facilitate efficient RFP responses.
  • Content Creation: Develop, produce, and/or coordinate fresh content regarding IAA's projects and studio updates to effectively convey the studio's work. This includes collaborating with IAA's architects, leadership, clients, and conducting additional research to accurately represent the studio's initiatives.
  • Photography Coordination: Assist the BD Director in organizing and planning photo shoots of completed architectural projects as required.
  • Publishing Responsibilities: Disseminate IAA's news and content across the studio's platforms, including the website, social media, quarterly newsletters, and other necessary channels.
  • Reporting Duties: Collaborate with the BD Director to generate regular reports evaluating the success of marketing strategies and new business endeavors.
  • CRM Management: Update and maintain the company's CRM system to ensure effective management of client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience, including: Architecture, Art History, Urban Planning/Studies, Marketing, Journalism, or Creative Writing.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in a related role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a preference for experience in Adobe InDesign.
  • Exceptional writing skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple assignments at various stages and meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and a sense of personal accountability.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently, take direction, and proactively advance projects.
