Job Purpose and Overview

A Market Account Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Market Sales Managers and contributing to the success of our customers. This position involves assisting the Market Sales Managers in daily operational functions, enabling them to focus on business priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Processing: Accurately process and manage data to support sales activities.
  • Manual Price Adjustments: Utilize SAP to input MCA's (manual price adjustments) and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Meeting Coordination: Coordinate Bakers Gatherings, Warehouse shows, and Vendor Fairs to facilitate sales and customer engagement.
  • Sales Meetings and Huddles: Attend and coordinate sales meetings and sales huddles with internal and external partners.
  • Market Visits: Coordinate market visits for Leadership Teams in conjunction with Market Sales Managers.
  • New Item and Customer Setups: Execute new item, new customer setups, and item maintenance internally and externally, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Sample Coordination: Coordinate samples for customer presentations, product cuttings, and new items.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support Market Sales Managers and Senior Directors.
Requirements
  • Education: A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: Four years of experience supporting a sales organization.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience collaborating with customers, retailers, and food service operators.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret a P&L.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across multiple business lines.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with SAP, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Initiative: Demonstrated ability to navigate multiple software applications, user interfaces, and digital technologies.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Resolution Skills: Strong resolution skills.
  • Teamwork: Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 25%.
