We are in search of a highly proficient and data-oriented Email Marketing Operations Specialist to enhance our marketing efforts. This position plays a vital role in enhancing lead generation, engagement, and the overall effectiveness of our email outreach through meticulous contact data management, CRM oversight, and outreach administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact List Development and Oversight: Create, manage, and sustain an email contact database for M&A intermediaries and proprietary investment targets, ensuring continuous data accuracy.
  • Management of Service Providers: Oversee external service providers, both offshore and onshore, to guarantee timely delivery of new contact lists and data cleansing initiatives.
  • CRM Oversight: Ensure the integrity of reliable contact information within the CRM system to facilitate seamless data flow and lead management. Ensure all investment opportunities are accurately recorded and classified based on their respective stages.
  • Email Campaign Strategy and Implementation: Design and execute targeted email marketing campaigns that align with the firm’s business objectives and marketing strategy. This involves crafting engaging email content, designing templates, and managing email schedules.
  • Email Marketing Automation: Implement and enhance email marketing automation tools to streamline campaign execution, lead nurturing, and personalized communication.
  • Performance Analysis and Enhancement: Evaluate email campaign performance metrics to assess ROI and identify areas for improvement. Utilize data insights to refine email content, subject lines, and timing.
  • Coordination of Calls and Meetings: Collaborate with the outreach team to organize phone calls and in-person meetings through direct engagement with contacts and potential investment targets.
  • Content Oversight: Manage and perform basic updates to the firm’s website and marketing materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, demonstrating a successful track record
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and convert insights into actionable strategies
  • Proficiency in email marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, DealCloud Dispatch)
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, DealCloud)
  • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing both internal and external resources to achieve results
  • Ability to identify technological opportunities to enhance or automate target list development, email outreach, database management, and meeting coordination
  • Prior experience in private equity, investment banking, or B2B financial services is advantageous, but not mandatory
