We are seeking an experienced Operating Room RN Manager to lead our surgical services team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of safety and excellence within our OR department.

About the Role:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to our OR nursing staff, focusing on clinical excellence, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives to drive continuous quality improvement in the OR.
  • Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and effective communication among team members.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including budgetary information, to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices in perioperative nursing to provide expert guidance to team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License (current).
  • National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered nurse in an operating room setting, preferably in a management or leadership role.
  • Recent first-line management experience preferred.
