Del Taco Brand Ambassador
Del Taco, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Del Taco Way, ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness in our restaurants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, and retain top talent to drive restaurant performance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure all team members are certified and equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Lead by example, demonstrating the Del Taco Way and promoting a service-oriented culture.
- Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and recommend salary increases to drive employee engagement and retention.
- Administer disciplinary action, suspension, and/or termination in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and grow team members through coaching, mentoring, and opportunities for advancement.
Delivering the Brand:
- Execute Del Taco Standards and processes 100% of the time, ensuring consistency and quality in every aspect of the restaurant.
- Maintain the facility and customer areas, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
- Ensure all equipment is operational and safe, minimizing downtime and maintaining high standards of quality.
- Deliver only quality products to Del Taco standards every time, exceeding customer expectations.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and standards, maintaining a clean and organized restaurant.
- Ensure all team members are in proper uniform, promoting a professional image.
- Ensure a consistent service experience, exceeding customer expectations in every interaction.
- Ensure POP and signage are present and in approved locations, promoting the Del Taco brand.
Achieving Sales and Profitability:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in identifying and communicating sales goals, driving sales growth and customer loyalty.
- Ensure the right people are in the right places, according to projected and actual sales, maximizing capacity and customer value.
- Increase customer count and check average, driving sales growth and profitability.
- Support the General Manager in identifying and executing Local Store Marketing opportunities, attracting new customers and driving sales growth.
- Stay aware of local events, understanding the store's current trade area and competition, and executing speed and service standards.
- Flawlessly execute marketing promotions and campaigns, driving sales growth and customer loyalty.
Achieving Profitability:
- Maintain staffing levels to actual sales, ensuring optimal labor costs and maximizing profitability.
- Comply with labor laws, ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
- Accurately order and manage inventory, reducing waste and preventing theft.
- Ensure cash handling procedures and standards are in place and followed, minimizing losses and maximizing profitability.
- Perform cash audits and address identified issues, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Execute safety and health standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Minimize R&M/Supplies and Services costs by managing service vendors efficiently, maximizing profitability.
- Achieve and communicate controllable cost targets, driving profitability and growth.
