Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Specialist

Our Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate pediatric speech-language pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university, successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP, and a license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas. Experience in pediatrics is required, and bilingualism in Spanish is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years old, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
- Define patients' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments.
- Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient and advise, consult, and instruct the team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions.
- Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
- Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources, and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program.
- May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
