**About the Position**

As a Principal Software Engineer (ServiceNow) at U.S. Bank, you'll play a key role in shaping our technology strategy and contributing to our digital transformation journey.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain a world-class ServiceNow instance
  • Develop and enforce governance and standards to ensure our platform meets high standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish Instance strategies and participate in technical design decisions
  • Evaluate and onboard new capabilities and technologies
  • Represent our team in technical discussions with ServiceNow product teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Five to six years of relevant experience
  • ServiceNow Administration (CSA) Fundamentals Certification

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • ServiceNow IRM experience or experience working with other solutions (HRSD, CSM, etc)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance (CIS-RC)
  • Experience implementing and supporting Knowledge Bases & EC Pro service portal
  • Strong understanding and prior experience with Proof of Concepts and blueprints
  • Ability to influence engineers and leadership on processes and order of operations needed to achieve end results required
  • Ability/desire to mentor engineers
  • Experience with ServiceNow Stream Connect (Kafka)
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Able to communicate processes and results with all parties involved in the product team, including engineers, product owner, scrum master, third party vendors and customers

Salary Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00 - $154,990.00
