We are excited to announce an opening for a Branded Products Sales Specialist. Please review the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Propel profitable business expansion by assisting branches in achieving target penetration and optimizing margin opportunities for assigned branded products in markets where we hold limited or exclusive distribution rights.

• Foster relationships with our suppliers to help them achieve their objectives alongside ours.
• Create value by supporting our customers and their clients in reaching their business goals.

• Cultivate relationships and generate demand with residential and commercial builders, contractors, and large industrial users.

• Drive business through BMD committed customers to reinforce our value proposition and enhance customer loyalty.
• Develop a training platform, both online and in-person, specifically focused on pull-through selling for our customers and associates.
• Generate social media content to promote Boise Cascade and designated branded products through online channels.
• Create sales tools to enhance sales to Boise Cascade, including software, material lists, virtual reality, displays, and website resources.

• Regularly meet with relevant supplier sales stakeholders to illustrate and reinforce Boise Cascade's investments, including personnel, online value, training, and contractor conversions.

• Ensure consistent internal communication, manage internal relationships, and support new initiatives with designated suppliers in collaboration with the division product manager.

• Assist in resolving product mix and supply challenges.
• Help identify third-party margin opportunities where applicable.

• Implement sales and marketing strategies consistently with the BMD customer base by leveraging BMD sales teams and marketing support tools aligned with division financial and strategic objectives.

• Recruit, train, and develop personnel while overseeing the branded product support group at the division level.
• Ensure all business operations comply with antitrust and other relevant laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental stewardship, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• College Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of industry experience with a proven track record of developing and leading a successful business unit.

• Prior management experience across multiple locations is essential. A deep understanding of the industry is required.
