Job Title: Training Support Specialist - Joint Culinary Center of Excellence (JCCoE)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the daily management, upkeep, and accountability of all tools, facilities, and materials utilized in the MOS 92G tactical training program.
  • Handle equipment related to Mobil Kitchen Trailer, Containerized Kitchen, Food Sanitation Center, Modern Burner Unit, M59 Range, 2KW Generator, Kitchen, Company Level Field Feeding - Enhanced (KCLFF-E), MTRCS, and Assault Kitchen; perform fueling and defueling of vehicles and stationary machinery; submit, monitor, and report on work orders, site enhancement tasks, facility maintenance, and safety and environmental compliance duties.
  • Operate and maintain, including conducting daily PMCS, on the aforementioned equipment as well as 5-Ton and High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) units.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Required to hold and sustain all necessary training and certifications.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Demonstrated skills in office automation tasks, including word processing, email communication, spreadsheets, presentations, and other personal computer applications; proficient in converting rough drafts into final documents, such as correspondence, reports, and forms; maintaining records, historical data, survey results, and a reference library of training materials, regulations, and other relevant publications; establishing and managing office functional and reference files; knowledge management.

Security Clearance: Must successfully pass a NA/CI background check.

Work Environment:

Standard business hours are from 0800 to 1700, with personnel schedules adjusted to facilitate classroom availability from 0700 to 1800, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to emergencies or administrative reasons.

  • This position typically requires light work, with occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds or more, and carrying of supplies and equipment.
  • The role involves varying levels of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods is necessary.
  • Clear communication skills and a strong comprehension of the English language are essential.
  • Work is primarily conducted in an indoor environment.
Physical demands are indicative of those required to successfully perform the duties described in the work environment.

Travel Requirements:

Travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) may be necessary to fulfill tasks and obligations.
