Job Title: Training Support Specialist - Joint Culinary Center of Excellence (JCCoE)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the daily management, upkeep, and accountability of all tools, facilities, and materials utilized in the MOS 92G tactical training program.
  • Handle equipment related to Mobil Kitchen Trailer, Containerized Kitchen, Food Sanitation Center, Modern Burner Unit, M59 Range, 2KW Generator, Kitchen, Company Level Field Feeding - Enhanced (KCLFF-E), MTRCS, and Assault Kitchen; manage fueling and defueling of vehicles and stationary machinery; submit, monitor, and report on work orders, site improvement tasks, facilities maintenance, and safety and environmental compliance duties.
  • Oversee and maintain, including conducting daily PMCS, on the aforementioned equipment and 5-Ton and High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) units.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English proficiently.
  • Must possess and retain a valid driver's license.
  • Must have and maintain all necessary training and certifications.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Proficient in office automation tasks, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, presentations, and other personal computer applications; skilled in typing various materials from rough drafts to final versions, including correspondence, reports, and forms; adept at maintaining records, historical data, survey results, and a reference library of training catalogs, regulations, and other publications; capable of establishing and maintaining functional office files and knowledge management systems.

Supervisory Role: None

Security Clearance: Must successfully pass a NA/CI background check.

Work Environment:

Standard working hours are from 0800 to 1700, with staggered schedules to ensure classroom availability from 0700 to 1800, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays or when the facility is closed due to emergencies or administrative reasons.

  • This position typically requires light work, with occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds or more, and carrying supplies and equipment.

  • Work is primarily conducted in an indoor environment.

Travel Requirements:

Travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) may be necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
