Job Summary:

Sisu Youth Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housing programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and respect of our facilities for clients, staff, and volunteers.

This is a full-time non-exempt position requiring a minimum of five years of experience in program management, homeless services, or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting disadvantaged youth with a history of trauma.

The Program Manager will supervise frontline staff, housing case managers, and program staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training to help each employee reach their full potential. You will also be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, including managing landlord relationships, apartment leases, and maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, schedule, lead, discipline, and coach frontline staff, housing case managers, and program staff.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of Sisu's housing programs, including managing landlord relationships, apartment leases, and maintenance needs.
  • Ensure Sisu programs provide safe, clean, respectful, and professional environments for clients, staff, and volunteers.
  • Lead the development and implementation of processes that create equity and consistency in Sisu programming.
  • Represent Sisu to the community with professionalism and commitment to enhancing the organization's community profile.
  • Attend all assigned community meetings on behalf of Sisu.
  • Oversee professional development programs to evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of staff.

Requirements:

  • Five or more years of experience in program management, homeless services, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing staff, logistics, budgets, and relationships.
  • Passion for supporting disadvantaged youth with a history of trauma.
  • Experience with youth, LGBTQ+, homeless populations, mental health, social services, or substance use recovery preferred.
