Position Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing all incoming goods until they are securely stored. This role is crucial in safeguarding the inventory assets of Dot It Restaurant Fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Custom Orders: Verify and count all items received from various suppliers against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy before transferring products to the shipping area and tagging them for replenishment.
  • Buyout Management: Obtain shipping costs for purchase orders, adjust them as necessary, and accurately receive items into the inventory management system.
  • Returns Processing: Assess returned items to determine their status as either inventory or waste, tagging and processing them accordingly.
  • Label Management: Handle the receipt of labels from external vendors.
  • Material Handling: Move received materials to the kitting area as required for production needs.
  • Unloading Duties: Efficiently unload trucks upon arrival.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary trailer inspection forms and maintain SDS sheets.
  • Support: Assist the replenishment team as needed.
  • Backup Roles: Provide support for replenishment and production warehouse associates.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the essential duties outlined. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.

Forklift certification for both sit-down and stand-up units is required, along with familiarity with inventory management systems.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in inventory management and receiving processes.
