Proper Food is seeking a Store Lead to join our team in New York. As a Store Lead, you will be responsible for leading our team of food enthusiasts in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of food enthusiasts
- Ensure excellent customer service and a positive store experience
- Manage store inventory and ordering
- Execute daily and weekly cleaning and operational tasks
- Restock food and merchandise throughout the day
- Process guest orders through POS
- Deliver catering orders on foot
- Manage store cash handling
- High school education preferred
- Department of Health Food Handlers Card preferred
- One to three years previous experience preferred
- Strong organizational and verbal communication skills
- Ability to have an outgoing, friendly disposition for guest relations
- Appropriately groomed for direct engagement with clientele
- $20-$24 per hour including tips, starting base rate of $17-18.50 per hour
- 40 hours of Paid Time Off in your first year, and additional PTO with every year you work with us
