Job Title: Communications Representative
Job Summary:
The Communications Representative is responsible for developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies that enhance the company's image and brand. This role involves creating engaging content, coordinating media relations, and ensuring that all communications are consistent with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development:
- Write and edit clear, compelling content for various platforms, including press releases, blog posts, newsletters, social media, and website.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand's tone, style, and messaging.
- Act as a liaison between the company and the media, building and maintaining relationships with key journalists and media outlets.
- Assist with media inquiries, draft responses, and arrange interviews or press events as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create communication plans that inform, inspire, and engage employees.
- Draft and distribute company-wide communications, including announcements, newsletters, and updates.
- Assist in planning and executing communication strategies for company events, conferences, and public appearances.
- Coordinate with event management to ensure brand consistency and positive publicity.
- Monitor and manage brand mentions across media channels and platforms, addressing reputational issues proactively.
- Provide insights and recommendations for brand alignment across all communications.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media analytics.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
