Science and Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Opportunity

MPOWIR Mentoring Physical Oceanography Women to Increase Retention is seeking highly motivated and talented graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to participate in its Science and Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship program. This prestigious fellowship provides a unique opportunity to engage in the analytical process that informs U.S. science and technology policy.
Program OverviewThe fellowship program is designed to develop basic skills essential to working or participating in science policy at the federal, state, or local levels. Fellows will gain a deeper understanding of the policy and politics behind science and technology, and will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.
EligibilityGraduate students and postdoctoral scholars in any social/behavioral science, medical/health discipline, physical or biological science, any field of engineering, law/business/public administration, or any relevant interdisciplinary field within the last five years are eligible to apply. The program is open to all U.S. and non-U.S. citizens who meet the criteria.
BenefitsFellows will receive a stipend grant award of $8,240 to offset expenses. The program takes place in Washington, D.C. and provides a unique opportunity to network with professionals in the field and gain valuable experience.
