About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Carbon Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Explain procedures to patients, reducing anxieties and obtaining cooperation.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  • Prepare images for reading by Radiologists, ensuring accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Assist with Medical Assistant duties to optimize patient flow and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Attend staff and departmental meetings to stay informed and contribute to team discussions.
  • Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current CRT certificate.
  • Current CPR-BLS certification.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency Limited Scope (LMRT) required, full-scope (RT) highly preferred.
