We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Pediatric Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Health Clinic as Clinical Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight to our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical direction and oversight to our team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients.
- Program Development: Develop and implement programs to improve access to culturally responsive mental health and developmental/behavioral health care for youth and families in Central Virginia.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to develop collaborations and partnerships that enhance our services and improve patient outcomes.
- Teaching and Education: Teach and mentor medical fellows, residents, and students, providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality care to our patients.
- Departmental and System-wide Contributions: Participate in departmental, school of medicine, and health system committees and educational offerings, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
- Education: PhD/PsyD or equivalent from an APA-accredited (or equivalent) program.
- Experience: Completion of an APA-accredited (or equivalent) internship and licensure or license-eligibility in Virginia.
- Cultural Competence: Demonstrated cultural humility and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Interprofessional Practice: Skilled in interprofessional practice in a complex, academic medical environment.
