Inclusive Learning Specialist

Seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Special Education Teacher to join our inclusive community at LAMB, a Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School. This 10-month position requires a dedicated professional who can create a supportive and engaging learning environment for students with diverse needs.
About the PositionWe are looking for an educator who shares our commitment to promoting peace and equality for all. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to develop and implement IEPs, provide differentiated instruction, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in regular meetings, including grade-level teams, language cohorts, co-teaching, coaching, data meetings, IEP, AED, 504, and BIP.
- Actively participate in LAMB's coaching culture and identify personal and professional goals.
- Embody the Montessori philosophy of Grace and Courtesy and LAMB's values of PAZ in all relationships.
The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering student belonging and inclusion, possessing excellent time management skills, and having a willingness to continuously learn and grow. Experience working in bilingual environments, dual-language education, or with students of various abilities is highly valued.
Requirements and Benefits- Meet state educational requirements for Cross-Categorical Special Education in elementary education or demonstrate eligibility.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Ability to work in a multicultural, bilingual environment.
- One or more years of teaching experience in early childhood programs and/or dual-language education.
This exempt position comes with a salary range of $48,900 to $89,530, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
