Salary & Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $40,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits, including employee discounts, free uniforms, and opportunities for advancement.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Kitchen Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our customers, using only the freshest ingredients and adhering to strict food safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Create menus that showcase our Mediterranean cuisine and cater to customer preferences
- Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, delegating tasks and ensuring seamless workflow
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures, maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues to management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification, with ability to obtain any necessary licenses or certifications
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques, recipes, and menu planning
- Excellent time management skills, with ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines
