Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Instructor to join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in a regular classroom setting, presenting lessons in designated subject areas. Your primary goal will be to help students achieve academic success and reach their full potential.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct and manage academic classes, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Demonstrate and uphold the Company Core Values and operating principles.
Collaborate with students to set and achieve academic goals, promoting a growth mindset and encouraging self-motivation.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, utilizing provided curriculum resources and Educational Learning Plans.
Establish a high degree of student/instructor rapport, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Monitor and review student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance as needed.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress, adhering to policy requirements and center operating procedures.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area or related field.
Certification to teach in the state where the center is located.
One year of experience in a teaching capacity with disadvantaged youth (preferred).
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students, with a strong commitment to student success.
CPR/First Aid Certification and ability to maintain it.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of the subject area, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Strong understanding of educational theories and best practices, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
