Insurance Business Development Representative

You have aspirations to run your own business? Consider working in the office of Lisa Reed - State Farm Agent. As a member of our agency team, you experience first-hand what it takes to be a successful business owner. Build customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home, and life insurance.
About the Position
This role allows you to work in an agent's office and explore the opportunity to become a State Farm agent yourself. Responsibilities include:
- Providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
- Educating customers about insurance options using a customer-focused review process.
- Working with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Developing leads, scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and marketing appropriate products and services.

- Sales experience outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing preferred.
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and listening.
- Enthusiasm about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage risks and achieve their dreams.
- Self-motivation.
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers.
- Achieving mutually agreed-upon marketing goals.
- Experience in marketing.
- Property and Casualty license must be currently held.
- Life and Health license must be able to obtain.
Salary Estimate
The estimated annual salary for this position is around $60,000, depending on location and performance.
