The Senior Manager of Business Processes will oversee the management and enhancement of business processes for Emerson's Isolation Valves (ISV) Business unit on a global scale. This role requires a strategic leader who will guide the development of configurators, integrate user feedback for continuous improvement, and prioritize enhancements while managing their implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and technical guidance for the ISV Product Configurators.
- Collect and prioritize user feedback to enhance product configurators.
- Oversee the roadmap for configurator development and enhancements.
- Lead the deployment of configurators across various global regions as part of the CPQ transformation.
- Manage the transition of configurators from Oracle Configurator Developer to Configit.
- Facilitate collaboration among departments to support ongoing improvements for the configurators.
- Direct and prioritize the tasks of the configuration development team.
- Maintain training materials and functional documentation for configurators.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach in managing expectations and adapting to evolving conditions. A proven track record of high performance and the ability to leverage existing and emerging technologies to enhance organizational outcomes is essential. The candidate should possess strong initiative and be adept at identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; preferred fields include Engineering or Information Technology.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and refining business processes alongside IT solutions for a global audience.
- Familiarity with Product Configuration technologies, particularly Configit or Oracle OCD, and understanding of engineering product structures.
- Proven ability to manage time-sensitive challenges in a complex business landscape.
- Demonstrated capability to oversee multiple projects to successful completion.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as necessary (up to 20%).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Excellent presentation skills across various organizational levels.
- A commitment to excellence and a reputation as a collaborative colleague.
- 2-4 years of industry experience in leading business process changes.
