Job Summary

Equinox is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging and effective fitness classes for our members. As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality fitness experience that meets the needs and expectations of our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Class Leadership: Lead fitness classes that are safe, engaging, and challenging for participants.
  • Class Planning: Plan and prepare classes that meet the needs and goals of our members, including creating engaging and effective workout routines.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with members, colleagues, and management to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Equipment and Facility Management: Ensure that all equipment and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Member Feedback and Support: Respond to member feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner, and provide support and guidance to help members achieve their fitness goals.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: A degree in a related field (e.g. exercise science, kinesiology) and certification as a group fitness instructor (e.g. ACE, AFAA).
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a group fitness instructor, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality fitness classes and excellent customer service.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage participants in a group fitness setting.
