Tempur-Pedic Team Lead

As a key member of our team, the Tempur-Pedic Team Lead plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while promoting and selling our premium products. This individual will also serve as a trusted leader, providing support to the Store Manager and taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Collaborate with the Store Manager to drive overall store leadership and supervision, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Brand Awareness and Advocacy: Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and advocacy, exceeding projected store goals through partnerships with local businesses and community organizations.
  • Recruitment and Development: Assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing store associates, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Customer Experience: Set the standard for providing premium customer service, building strong relationships with our customers, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Visual Merchandising and Brand Presentation: Work with the Store Manager to maintain high standards of visual merchandising and brand presentation, creating an engaging and inviting store environment.
  • Financial Management: Ensure accurate and timely management of financial objectives and controls, maintaining a high level of financial acumen.
  • Store Operations: In the absence of the Store Manager, provide leadership and direction to ensure the store operates to Tempur-Pedic standards, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of retail management experience, preferably in high-end luxury and/or custom products.
  • Sales and Leadership Skills: Strong sales skills in a consultative environment, with the ability to effectively lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in current retail software and computer systems.
  • Compensation: $17 per hour, plus monthly incentives.
