The Insurance Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the patient experience by ensuring accurate insurance verification and providing support to patients, staff, and healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients as they arrive.
  • Collect and verify paperwork and insurance details, ensuring accuracy before entering into the system.
  • Update patient statuses in the database according to established protocols.
  • Address routine inquiries via phone regarding appointments, policies, insurance, and treatments, while updating system notes as necessary.
  • Conduct insurance verifications and frequency checks as required.
  • Review upcoming schedules to confirm patient appointments and ensure all necessary preparations are made.
  • Confirm appointments the day prior and on the day of, and assist with rescheduling as needed.
  • Provide backup support to the Greeter during their absence.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office and lobby area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Dependable and reliable.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
