Position Overview

Welcome to InTouch Credit Union

We are seeking a Contact Center Agent who thrives in a customer-centric, fast-paced environment and is dedicated to providing friendly, professional assistance to our members.

Compensation: The successful candidate can expect to earn approximately $22.33 per hour.

Work Schedule: This position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with members and potential members in a call center setting, addressing their inquiries via phone, chat, or email while delivering efficient, accurate, and courteous service.
  • Strive for first-call resolution by assisting members with their inquiries; provide information about products and services, including loan options; recommend beneficial products; resolve issues within your authority; and escalate complex problems to the leadership team as needed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Credit Union products, services, features, benefits, lending guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling services to enhance member satisfaction.
  • Take full ownership of member requests through phone or chat, aiming for one-call resolutions or minimal transfers to other departments.
  • Assist members with Online Banking and related web-based banking services.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is mandatory.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years in a financial institution or call center environment.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Familiarity with basic software applications.
  • Understanding of Federal Bank Secrecy and Money Laundering regulations is essential.
