Account Sales Representative

About the Role:
Sales professionals at Staples, Inc. are responsible for selling facilities products, programs, and solutions to new and existing accounts. They work closely with business development teams to provide training and support, ensuring a consultative approach to sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selling facilities products, programs, and solutions into prospect and new accounts
- Customer profiling and qualifying
- Providing pre-sales support to account teams and external customers
- Completing bid and formal RFP submissions
- Providing product comparison and suggesting alternatives based on customer needs and pricing guidelines
Requirements:
- Expertise in Staples' facilities selling strategies
- Industry knowledge, including trends, products, and services
- Ability to prioritize work and engage support teams, implementation, or vendors to provide best customer experience
- Drive to close business and be proactive with prospective customers
- Strong time management, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal departments and external customers
