About the Role

Action Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Energy team as a Statewide Energy Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to provide energy efficiency services to community members in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign and manage energy efficiency projects with contractors and vendors, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  • Monitor project progress, conduct quality control inspections, and process project closeout documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Vendor Implementation (LVI) initiative to ensure efficient processing of work orders, invoices, and customer requests.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct post-inspections to ensure that work performed meets the required standard.
  • Respond to client, contractor, and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data reporting to managers and funding sources.
  • Participate in departmental and organization-wide meetings, contributing to the development of energy efficiency programs and services.
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience in building/construction trades and/or energy efficiency work.
  • Building Performance Institute (BPI) certifications preferred.
  • Drivers' license required and reliable daily transportation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, kneel, and sit for long periods.
  • Able to lift and climb ladders.
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
