Responsibilities:

  • The role involves selling Quest's software products and services primarily through over 20 outbound calls and emails daily, while also aiming for more than six customer meetings each week, particularly in the State, Local Government, and Higher Education sectors.
  • This position requires addressing customer inquiries, collaborating effectively with team members, and gaining comprehensive knowledge of Quest's software technologies, products, and services to customize solutions for client needs.
  • The role includes articulating technical, industry, and market information to position Quest Software as a competitive choice, working alongside colleagues from various departments to streamline the sales process, understanding the administrative and operational facets of the role, and exercising sound judgment in evaluating information for daily decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in outbound business-to-business marketing or sales, complemented by a relevant educational background or equivalent experience in the field.
  • A thorough understanding of Quest Software's complete range of technologies, products, and services, as well as those from third parties, is essential, along with the ability to assess how these offerings align with customer needs.
  • Extensive knowledge of the industry and competitors.
  • Basic skills in customer relationship management.
  • Understanding of the administrative and operational requirements of the position.
  • Demonstrates reliable judgment in evaluating information to make routine decisions.
