About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Team Member to join our team at Walmart. As a Bakery Team Member, you will be responsible for preparing fresh baked items daily for our members, following recipes and ensuring quality and date control standards for bakery items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes/make-up instructions, and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
  • Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while assisting members quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service.
