About the Role

Mollie Stone's Markets is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Bakery Manager to join our team at our Tower location. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for partnering with the Manager to achieve sales and profit goals in the bakery department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and schedule team members to ensure efficient production and merchandising of bakery products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Assist in the interviewing, training, and development of team members to build a high-performing team.
  • Manage inventory and pricing to achieve required margin and labor targets.
  • Follow and comply with established procedures, including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bakery management is required, with at least 1-2 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills to calculate margins, monitor profitability, and manage inventory.
  • Passion for scratch baking and comprehensive knowledge of bakery products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and customers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
